Hello, everyone. I have come here with unfortunate news.
KookKidsPictures, the director of Jurassic Shark: Redemption, has officially signed off of the project for various reasons that made it impossible for the film to be produced. Although I will be collaborating with him on another film, it is very disappointing to see him go. Not just that, but as of now, Jurassic Shark Redemption has officially been cancelled.
For those of you who don't know, the film was set to be a spin-off to the series that would be set in-between the events of the second and third films. It would follow Chase Landon's cousin, Jack Landon, as he is targeted by the InGen employees in order to slow down the actions of their enemies. Jack and his friends are forced to square off against a Mako Shark in Michigan, desperately trying to survive and destroy the new threat.
The cancellation of the film will not affect the completion of Jurassic Shark II nor the production of Jurassic Shark III.
Again, the film is currently cancelled, although there is one last chance at its salvation. CharCharStudios101 was initially set to be the film's director, and when he dropped out of the position, he also showed interest in remaking the first film. After that idea was discarded, he mainly went dormant with the film. However, there is still a possibility that he will come back to make it. If he does not, then the film will be cancelled entirely.
Now, for Jurassic Shark II. I haven't given an update on the film since last July, before the film was even released. Now, of the twelve parts that are set to be released in all, ten parts have officially been released. I will provide more information on the film upon its completion, and I stopped providing updates because the activity on the wiki was extremely low. So I will hopefully provide more updates soon.
