COPPA updates and how they affect JP Fanon
The COPPA, a United States federal law, has recently been updated, as outlined at this Wikia link. It does affect the userbase of Wikia in certain ways.
First, a little bit about COPPA, from the above link:

Jurassic Park: The Spoof - Of Dinosaurs and Hurricanes
As you may possibly know, Hurricane Sandy made its rounds through the east coast of the USA about two weeks ago. Thankfully, I'm still here and typing :P However, it did pose problems for me.
Basically, the hurricane has pretty much ruined our chances of getting the spoof done this year at all. There's no way we'd be able to fit it in. That kind of sucks, honestly.
But there's a new plan. There's now a tentative release date for the film, June 11 2013. Yes, that's JP's 20th anniversary. I figure it gives us ample time for production to be held and all the rest.
Short update but yeah. Go watch the JP 3D trailer :P

Jurassic Park IV: Extinction - The News
Recently, I have been thinking about rewriting my longest story on the wiki, Jurassic Park IV: Extinction. Well, I've finally gone ahead and done so. The first section of the new story remains at the original pagename, but I have kept the old story in the wiki for archival purposes and can be found at the pagename Jurassic Park IV: Extinction (original version).
Seeing as I have nothing else to do (the next bits have yet to be written), I'll deploy the usual hints and teasers.

Jurassic Park: The Spoof - August 2012 filming
I've decided to make semi-regular updates about the spoof a la Starscream7's updates about Jurassic Shark (which is really cool btw). Thanks for the idea :) However, these updates will be sporadic at best, so don't expect any linear schedule here. That said...
This was the first day of filming. No script, no dialogue, no nothing. Less than a minute total of footage. But it is very GOOD footage. For the opening sauropod scene, we decided not to bother making a sauropod so instead we went over to Field Station: Dinosaurs instead, and filmed the moving Argentinosaurus.
